Rams sign Cooper Kupp's brother, Ketner

May 15 (UPI) -- The Los Angeles Rams have signed Ketner Kupp, the brother of wide receiver Cooper Kupp.

Los Angeles announced the signing of the undrafted rookie linebacker Wednesday. Kupp previously tried out for the San Francisco 49ers, but was unable to earn a contract.

The 6-foot, 225-pound linebacker had 267 tackles and three sacks in 48 games during his college career at Eastern Washington. Kupp had 115 tackles, 5.5 tackles for a loss, four passes defensed and 0.5 sack in 2018.

Cooper Kupp, 25, had 556 yards and six touchdowns on 40 catches in eight starts during his 2018 campaign. He was a third round pick by the Rams in the 2017 NFL Draft.

The Kupp brothers' father, Craig Kupp, was a fifth round pick by the New York Giants in the 1990 NFL Draft. Their grandfather, Jake Kupp, was a ninth round pick by the Dallas Cowboys in the 1964 NFL Draft. Jake Kupp was an offensive lineman for 12 years. He played for the Cowboys, Washington Redskins, Atlanta Falcons and New Orleans Saints.
