Dec. 27 (UPI) -- Wide receiver Desean Jackson wants to move on from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Sources told ESPN that the veteran pass-catcher wants to be on a different team and that it would be "beneficial for him to be in a new environment and to get a fresh start."

The report comes after sources told NFL.com in October that Jackson requested a trade from the Buccaneers. Tampa Bay refused to grant him the request.

Jackson, 31, made $11 million in 2018 and has an un-guaranteed $10 million on his deal in 2019. The 11-year veteran has 774 yards and four touchdowns on 41 receptions in 12 games this season. He leads the league with 18.9 yards per catch. Jackson had at least 100 receiving yards in three of his first four games but has failed to reach that mark since Week 4. He had a season-low one catch in Week 16 against the Dallas Cowboys.

The three-time Pro Bowl selection played the first six years of his career with the Philadelphia Eagles before joining the Washington Redskins in 2014. He signed with the Buccaneers in 2017.
