The quarrel occurred near the Redskins' bench following the Titans' 25-16 victory on Saturday at Nissan Stadium in Nashville. Lewan walked toward the Redskins bench and performed Norman's trademark bow-and-arrow celebration in the defender's face.
Norman responded by getting up from the bench and throwing his helmet at the 6-foot-7, 309-pound lineman. The 6-foot, 200 pound defender then shoved Lewan's arm down and got in some brief shoving before Lewan walked away.
An NBC videographer reported that Lewan told Norman to "get the [expletive] out of his stadium."
"I'm not worried about Josh Norman. I'm an offensive lineman. He's a DB. I don't know who that is," Lewan said.
"I was [ticked off]. He was trying to hurt Derrick. That's B.S. That's not the way football's supposed to be played, man. It's not our fault you're not relevant anymore."

Norman did not speak to the media after the game. He sat in his locker while still wearing his jersey, pads and cleats during his media availability, according to the Washington Post.
Norman had four tackles and an assist in the loss. The 2015 Pro Bowl and All-Pro selection has 59 combined tackles, nine passes defensed, three interceptions, three forced fumbles and a fumble recovery in 15 starts this season.
