Los Angeles Rams DT Ndamukong Suh fined for horse-collar tackle

Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh was no stranger to being fined during his time with the Detroit Lions.

Suh, however, was also fined in his return to the Motor City during last week's game after his horse-collar tackle of Lions running back Zach Zenner.

The tackle, which cost Suh $20,054, also triggered a 15-yard penalty.

Suh was docked more than $600,000 due to fines and suspensions during his five seasons with Detroit.

A five-time Pro Bowl selection, Suh has collected 40 tackles and 3.5 sacks this season after signing a one-year contract worth $14 million with the Rams.

Suh spent three seasons with the Miami Dolphins before being released in March, halfway through a six-year, $114 million contract he signed in 2015.

The 31-year-old Suh was an All-Pro selection in three of his first five seasons with the Lions, racking up 36 of his career 55 sacks while establishing himself as one of the league's best interior lineman.

Although he started all 16 games in each of his three seasons with the Dolphins, Suh's impact diminished greatly while new teammate Aaron Donald was establishing himself as the NFL's best defensive tackle.

Suh, who is listed at 6-foot-4 and 313 pounds, has recorded 459 tackles with four forced fumbles and as many recoveries in 138 career contests with the Lions, Dolphins and Rams.
