Trubisky has missed the last two games because of a right shoulder injury.
"I do (expect to play), just have to show coach (Mike Nagy)," Trubisky said, according to NFL Network's Stacey Dales. "I feel confident that I'll be ready to go.
"Arm feels really good. Just throwing as much as they'll let me and taking care of it. I'm just making sure I'm 100 percent when I get back out there."
Nagy was optimistic when talking about Trubisky's availability.
"I feel strong that he will play, but I have to see more," Nagy said. "I feel good about it. I'm anxious to get him out there and see him throw the ball around in practice with the guys."
Trubisky, the second overall pick of the draft by the Bears last year out of North Carolina, has passed for 2,469 yards and 20 touchdowns with nine interceptions this season, in addition to rushing for 363 yards and three scores.
