The 23-year-old Conner rushed for 60 yards and two touchdowns against the Chargers. He added three receptions for 14 yards for the Steelers (7-4-1), who will visit the Oakland Raiders (2-10) on Sunday (4:25 p.m. ET).

"You never want to see a guy like that go down," Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown said, per ESPN. "But like we said, every guy in a helmet is upholding the standard, and anyone can be the reason we win."

Conner has 201 carries for 909 yards and 12 touchdowns in 12 games this season. The 6-foot-1, 233-pound Conner also has 52 receptions for 467 yards and one score.

Samuels, 22, has rushed for 31 yards on 12 carries since being selected by Pittsburgh in the fifth round of the 2018 NFL Draft. The 6-foot, 225-pound Samuels also has seven catches for 54 yards and two scores.
