Carolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen left the game early in the second quarter with a right foot injury and will not return to Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Olsen missed time earlier this season with an injury to the same foot. It's the same foot that sidelined him much of last season.

On the play he was injured, Olsen pulled up right after the snap without making any contact. He was unable to leave the field on his own and had to be carted off.

Before being hurt, Olsen had one reception for 13 yards.
