Nov. 22 (UPI) -- The Cincinnati Bengals have signed nose tackle Niles Scott and placed defensive tackle Josh Tupou on injured reserve.
Cincinnati announced the roster moves on Thursday. Scott was signed off of the Denver Broncos' practice squad. Topou initially signed with teh Bengals last season as a college free agent out of Colorado. He played one game as a rookie and suffered a pectoral injury at Wednesday's practice.
Scott originally signed with the San Francisco 49ers earlier this year as a college free agent. The 6-foot-3, 295-pound nose tackle spent time on the Broncos and 49ers practice squads.
Topou had nine tackles in six games this season. He was listed as the Bengals' second-string nose tackle, behind Andrew Billings.
The Bengals host the Cleveland Browns in an AFC North clash at 1 p.m. on Sunday at Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati.
