The Denver Broncos released cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones, according to multiple media reports on Tuesday and Jones' own social media message.

The 35-year-old Jones posted a message on Instagram, which read: "Well Denver it was good, thanks for the opportunity!!!! On to the next."

Jones signed with Denver in August and started two games in September, but his playing time has been reduced recently. He appeared in just seven games this season.

Jones had one interception and nine tackles for the Broncos this season, and he was occasionally used as a kick returner.

Jones might have a difficult time finding another team that wants him at his age. However, he was an All-Pro selection in 2014 at the age of 31 and a Pro Bowl choice in 2015 at age 32.

He spent eight seasons before this year with the Cincinnati Bengals, and also played for the Tennessee Titans and Dallas Cowboys.

He missed all of the 2007 season because of a violation of the league's personal conduct policy, and he did not play at all in 2009 either.

Jones has played in 146 NFL games, including 104 starts, in his 14-year career. He has 17 career interceptions, 552 total tackles, three sacks and seven forced fumbles.
