Johnson went down with the left knee injury at the end of a third quarter run. He was looked at on the sidelines until he limped into the Lions' locker room.

The Lions rookie had 15 carries for 87 yards and a touchdown before exiting with the injury. He has 641 yards and three scores on 118 carries this season.

LeGarrette Blount, Theo Riddick and Zach Zenner will lead the Lions' backfield in Johnson's absence. Johnson is unlikely to play in Week 12, as the Lions have a short week with a game at 12:30 p.m. on Thanksgiving against the Chicago Bears.
