Nov. 16 (UPI) -- Tight end Robert Tonyan made quite the impact on his first NFL catch, snagging a 54-yard dime from Aaron Rodgers for a touchdown against the Seattle Seahawks.

Tonyan's catch came in the first quarter of the Green Bay Packers' 27-24 setback on Thursday at CenturyLink Field in Seattle.

While Tonyan was obviously credited with making the snare, it was Rodgers who made the magic happen, per usual. The Packers star had the ball on a 2nd-and-10 from the Green Bay 46-yard-line during the sequence.

He took a snap from under center and dropped straight back, before being bumped into by his offensive line and the Seahawks' pass rush.

Rodgers then jetted to his right to buy some more time. He pointed downfield as he escaped the pressure and ran toward the line of scrimmage. Rodgers then rocketed a pass through the air from about the 42-yard line to the one-yard line, hitting Tonyan in stride as he ran toward the right corner of the end zone.

Tonyan got up and shrugged after making his first career catch. Tonyan was targeted only once in the game. He was also targeted once in Week 8 against the Los Angeles Rams, but did not make a catch.

Rodgers completed 21-of-30 passes for 332 yards and two scores in the loss. Davante Adams had a game-high 166 yards on 10 catches for the Packers.
