Nov. 10 (UPI) -- New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is expected to miss Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans due to multiple injuries.

A source told the Boston Herald that "Gronk" is likely out for the 1 p.m. matchup in Nashville. Gronkowski was limited this week at practice with ankle/back ailments on the injury report. He is officially questionable for the Week 10 matchup.

New England could choose to rest Gronkowski to give him more time to recover during the team's Week 11 bye.

The five-time Pro Bowl selection and four-time All-Pro returned to action in Week 8 against the Buffalo Bills after missing the Patriots' Week 7 win against the Chicago Bears. He pulled down three of his eight targets for 43 yards against the Bills. Gronkowski has just one touchdown on the season and has only eclipsed 100 receiving yards in a game once this season.

Gronkowski told reporters Friday that it's a coaches decision when asked if he was playing Sunday.

"If coach thinks I can go, then I can go," he said.

Fantasy Football Impact

If you have Gronkowski on your team, you should have probably known to bulk up at the position. But there are still several options in free agency to plug in for Gronk if your league requires starting a tight end. Patriots backup tight end Dwayne Allen had just one catch for 21 yards while starting last week. He had one catch for negative-4 yards in Week 4 for his only other catch this season. He is not a viable starting option in fantasy football, so look for tight ends on other squads if you are looking to replace the Patriots superstar this week.
