Bengals' A.J. Green expected to miss games with foot injury

Nov. 4 (UPI) -- Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green is expected to miss time due to a foot injury.

Sources told ESPN and NFL Network that Green is scheduled to meet with Dr. Robert Anderson this week in Green Bay to diagnose the ailment. A source told ESPN that Green is expected to miss "some games" but is trying to avoid surgery.

Green has 687 yards and six touchdowns on 45 receptions in eight games this season. The seven-time Pro Bowl selection injured his toe in the Bengals' Week 8 win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He wore a walking boot this week at practice.

The Bengals have a Week 9 bye but host the New Orleans Saints at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 11 at Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati.
