Free agent defensive tackle Roy Miller faces a six-game suspension for an undisclosed violation, NFL Media reported Friday.

Miller was arrested on domestic battery charges in November in Jacksonville, Fla., and was released two days later by the Kansas City Chiefs. No team has picked him up since the Chiefs dropped him.

The 30-year-old Miller spent four seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and four with the Jacksonville Jaguars before playing in seven games with the Chiefs last year as a backup. He finished with six tackles.

His career totals include 252 tackles and eight sacks in 119 games (84 starts).

According to multiple reports in November, Miller was arrested on Nov. 11 by Jacksonville police on a domestic battery charge after his wife, Nicole, alleged that he grabbed her by the hair, pushed her and threw her cell phone in the toilet.

The police report indicated that she sustained cuts on her face, a scratched neck, and hair pulled out of her head. She also stated that he tried to tear her shift off before he locked himself into a room with one of his sons. Miller and his wife both had been drinking that night, the report stated.

TMZ reported in April that Miller pleaded not guilty to a misdemeanor battery charge and agreed to a plea deal that would include fines, community service and participation in a pre-trial diversion program for anger management. His wife reportedly rejected the deal and said in a filing that she thought she was going to die in front of their children after her husband tackled her.

A month earlier in March, Miller posted on social media a denial of his wife's accusations, saying, "Right now my wife and I are going through a divorce and it is a very difficult and hurtful process. I am aware of the many false accusations that are being made. I will not address any of them. This coordinated attack on me will not deter the positive going forward in life. Instead I ask that you please respect the privacy of my five wonderful children in this vulnerable time. I have always provided for my children and will continue to do so as I am able. Thank you to those who have reached out to me during this difficult time."
