QB Tyrod Taylor wants Browns to beat Bills in playoffs

Tyrod Taylor is looking forward to playing for the Cleveland Browns, but that doesn't mean he doesn't reflect upon his time with the Buffalo Bills.

Taylor said he felt he deserved better from the Bills and is "definitely motivated" to prove to them that they made a mistake in letting him go.

"Definitely motivated. Things didn't end the way I would've liked it to in Buffalo," Taylor told NFL Network. "We could possibly see those guys in the playoffs or we could knock those guys out of the playoffs. I would definitely love that. It definitely added motivation and I take it to work with me every day."

While a postseason battle would be intriguing to Taylor, he might want to keep in mind that the Browns were winless in 2017 and have one victory in their last 32 games overall.

Per Browns head coach Hue Jackson, Taylor will be Cleveland's starting quarterback even though the team selected reigning Heisman Trophy winner Baker Mayfield out of Oklahoma with the top overall pick of the 2018 NFL Draft.

The 28-year-old played in 15 games for the Bills and completed 62.6 percent of his passes for 2,799 yards and 14 touchdowns with four interceptions.

Taylor guided Buffalo to the postseason for the first time since 1999 last season before being sent to Cleveland for a third-round pick. Now, he's aiming to have the Browns reach the playoffs for the first time since 2002.
