Miami Dolphins wide receiver DeVante Parker isn't interested in hearing a voice from the team's past.

Parker's ire was raised after former Dolphins wideout Chris Chambers ranked him third among the team's current receivers behind Kenny Stills and Albert Wilson.

"Nobody cares about his opinion," the 25-year-old Parker wrote on Twitter.

The two haven't seen eye to eye this offseason, with Chambers telling the Miami Herald on May 25 that he has reached out to Parker "several times to offer my assistance to speed up his growth curve" -- with no response.

"I don't know if he fully gets what it means to be a pro," said the 39-year-old Chambers, who trains NFL players at his fitness center in Davie, Fla.

"[Athleticism] and talent only last so long. Hard work, dedication and technique will take you a longer way when you add it on top of talent."

The expectations remain high for Parker, the No. 14 overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft who had a career-best 57 receptions last season after hauling in 56 catches in 2016.

Parker's yards per catch (11.8) went down and he found the end zone only once after scoring four times in 2016.

He had a pair of 100-yard games in his sophomore season but failed to reach 90 yards in a game in 2017 -- the crucial third year when receivers are expected to take a dramatic jump.

Chambers played in parts of seven seasons (2001-07) with the Dolphins, reeling in 405 receptions for 5,688 yards and 43 touchdowns. He also played for the then-San Diego Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs before exiting the NFL following the 2010 season.
