After six years with the Eagles, the team released Kendricks in a cost-cutting move last month.

Kendricks, 27, started 13 games for Philadelphia in 2017. He had 77 tackles (55 solo), two sacks and six pass breakups in 15 games total.

The Browns' linebacking corps includes fifth-round draft pick Genard Avery, James Burgess, Jamie Collins, Christian Kirksey and Joe Schobert.
