The Dallas Cowboys signed linebacker Eric Pinkins, the team announced Tuesday.

No contract terms were disclosed for Pinkins, who did not play last season. He was among the final cuts by the New York Giants in September.

A sixth-round draft pick of Seattle in 2014, Pinkins has appeared in 11 games over two seasons with the Seahawks and the Giants, making a total of three tackles.

The 6-foot-3, 220-pound Pinkins, who played collegiately at San Diego State, appeared in six games with Seattle in 2015 after spending time on the team's practice squad as a rookie.

In other roster moves Tuesday, Dallas waived linebacker Ed Shockley and receiver Malik Earl.
