The Tampa Bay Buccaneers agreed to terms with first-round defensive tackle Vita Vea on a four-year rookie contract, the team announced Thursday.

The Tampa Bay Times' report that Vea -- the 12th overall pick of the 2018 NFL Draft -- being under contract leaves the Buccaneers with two remaining unsigned selections from last month's draft.

Vea, who is the reigning Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year, recorded 9.5 sacks and 15 tackles for loss during his three seasons with Washington.

The 6-foot-4, 347-pound Vea is expected to be paired with six-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle Gerald McCoy on a defensive line that added Jason Pierre-Paul and Vinny Curry this offseason.

The Buccaneers are bidding to turn around a defense that ranked last in yards allowed and sacks last season.

USC running back Ronald Jones and Auburn cornerback Carlton Davis remain unsigned from last month's draft. Both were selected in the second round.
