The NFL is expected to award Super Bowls LVII and LVIII to Arizona and New Orleans, respectively, during this week's owners meetings, according to a report in SportsBusiness Journal on Monday.

Arizona will host the game in 2023 while New Orleans will follow suit in 2024.

The 2023 game will be played at University of Phoenix Stadium, which is located in suburban Glendale, Ariz. The stadium previously hosted the game in 2008 when the New York Giants stunned the unbeaten New England Patriots, and 2015 when the Patriots defeated the Seattle Seahawks.

New Orleans is getting the game for the league-record 11th time. Tulane Stadium hosted Super Bowls in 1970, 1972 and 1975 and Mercedes-Benz Stadium (formerly the Superdome) has hosted seven Super Bowls, most recently in 2013 when the Baltimore Ravens edged the San Francisco 49ers.

The sites will be decided as the culmination of a new selection process with the league giving selected cities the opportunity to get the Super Bowl in lieu of the traditional bidding process. If the city that gets the chance to host the game, then the traditional bidding process starts.
