Clayborn, who was signed to a two-year contract with a max value of $12.5 million, has been no stranger to injury during his career. He sustained an ACL tear in 2012, a torn biceps two years later and another knee injury as well as a biceps ailment in 2016.

The 29-year-old Clayborn recorded a career-high 9.5 sacks last season with the Atlanta Falcons, with a franchise-best six coming in one game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Clayborn has collected 167 tackles and 30.0 sacks in 81 career games with the Buccaneers and Falcons since being selected by Tampa Bay with the 20th overall pick of the 2011 NFL Draft.
