The Denver Broncos didn't have to look too far to find another quarterback. The Broncos signed former Colorado State quarterback Nick Stevens to a contract, the team announced on Thursday.
Stevens joins fellow quarterbacks Case Keenum, Paxton Lynch and Chad Kelly on the Broncos' 90-man roster.
The 6-foot-3, 215-pound Stevens, who went undrafted last month, has tried out during rookie camps in Green Bay and Washington.
Stevens threw for 8,554 yards and a school-record 70 touchdowns during his time in college.
He was first team All-Mountain West Conference last season after throwing for 3,804 yards with 29 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. He led the conference in passing touchdowns, passing yards and completion percentage (61.9).
