Tom Brady's choice of attire at the Met Gala earlier this week fell completely off target in the eyes of former New England Patriots teammate Drew Bledsoe.

Bledsoe, in turn, was pretty direct with his comments when appearing on "Celtics Pregame Live" before Wednesday's Game 5 of the Eastern Conference semifinal series between the Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers.

"It looks like he lost a bet or something," Bledsoe said of Brady's all-black suit with elaborate designs on the lapels, a choice that the latter told People magazine was picked out by wife Gisele Bundchen.

"I guess when you are married to a supermodel that you have to take some fashion chances," Bledsoe said. "... He looked like he should be parking cars at a casino."

Brady famously became the Patriots' starting quarterback after Bledsoe was injured following a hit along the sideline from former New York Jets linebacker Mo Lewis on Sept. 23, 2001.

The 40-year-old Brady went on to win five Super Bowls and three NFL MVP honors.
