A warrant has been issued for the arrest of New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson after Anderson and his lawyer failed to appear in a Florida court Tuesday, multiple media outlets reported.

Anderson was scheduled to appear for an arraignment hearing stemming from his arrest in January for reckless driving.

Ed O'Donnell, Anderson's lawyer, told The New York Daily News on Wednesday that he and Anderson received no notice of a court date.

"I received no notice, Robby received no notice. And the bondsman received no notice. A written plea of Not Guilty was filed on January 29th," Anderson said. "Since that date, we've never gotten any notice to be in court for this matter. I intend to take care of this (Thursday). First I got to figure out where it is. I didn't even know who issued the warrant for non-appearance. Craziness. Craziness."

Anderson, 25, was arrested in Sunrise, Fla., after allegedly driving 105 mph in a 45-mph zone and running two red lights while speeding away from police.

Anderson initially faced a felony charge of threatening harm to a public servant or family, but that charge was dropped in early April.

Anderson is also awaiting an August trial for his participation in an alleged altercation at a Miami music festival last year.

Anderson led the Jets in receiving last season, catching 63 passes for 941 yards and seven touchdowns.
