Bills hire Robiskie as receivers coach

The Buffalo Bills hired Terry Robiskie as the team's wide receivers coach, the team announced Wednesday.

The move comes one day after the Chargers announced that Phil McGeoghan left the Bills to take the same job in Los Angeles.

Robiskie has been coaching in the NFL for the last 36 seasons, including the past two years as offensive coordinator with the Tennessee Titans. He also served as the interim head coach with the Washington Redskins in 2000 and the Cleveland Browns in 2004.

The 63-year-old Robiskie will be tasked with improving the play of a wide receiver cast that includes 2017 in-season trade acquisition Kelvin Benjamin and 2017 second-round pick Zay Jones. Fellow wideouts Jordan Matthews and Deonte Thompson are headed for free agency.

Buffalo averaged an NFL second-worst 176.6 passing yards per game last season.
