Philadelphia police are putting hydraulic fluid on street poles and signs to prevent fans from climbing them prior to Super Bowl LII on Sunday.

A massive celebration is expected throughout the City of Brotherly Love should the Eagles capture their first Super Bowl title in franchise history when they face the New England Patriots.

Then again, tensions also could run high should the Eagles fall to the Patriots.

Kickoff is slated for 6:30 p.m. ET at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

Philadelphia cops used Crisco ahead of the Eagles' NFC Championship Game victory versus the Minnesota Vikings.

It was the same tactic law enforcement applied when the Phillies won the 2008 World Series and advanced to the Fall Classic the following year.

Unlike Crisco, however, hydraulic fluid is engineered to be resistant to extreme weather conditions. Philadelphia is expected to have rain and cold temperatures on Sunday.
