LeSean McCoy shed his walking boot and told reporters on Thursday that he's not feeling any pain, but the Buffalo Bills running back wasn't interested in getting ahead of himself.

"(I do) not want to make any promises," McCoy said on Thursday, three days ahead of the Bills' wild-card road game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

McCoy was listed as a non-participant in practice on Thursday despite the positives as he deals with an injured ankle.

"I want to be able to cut well enough to where I don't have a lot of pain cutting," McCoy said. "I just want to be close, or the best as far as 100 percent as I can get. The type of game like this, you got to lay it all on the line. If I can't get 100 percent, as long as I'm out there, and I can work effective enough, I'll do it. We'll just see."

McCoy was carted off the field with a right ankle injury following a tackle by linebacker Chase Allen in the third quarter of Sunday's 22-16 win over the Miami Dolphins. The 29-year-old McCoy immediately took off his helmet and was pounding the turf following the injury.
