CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams was evaluated for a possible concussion after taking a vicious hit in the third quarter of Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers at Bank of America Stadium.

Adams was knocked hard to the ground by Carolina linebacker Thomas Davis, who was blocking following teammate Colin Jones' interception of Aaron Rodgers. That play ended the first possession of the second half for Green Bay.

The Panthers were penalized 15 yards for Davis' blindside hit.
