Dec. 13 (UPI) -- The Cleveland Browns have signed defensive end Lavar Edwards.

Cleveland also signed offensive lineman Geoff Gray and wide receiver Matt Hazel.

The Browns waived wide receiver Bryce Treggs, defensive lineman Tyrone Holmes and defensive lineman T.Y. McGill. Cleveland signed offensive linemen Laurence Gibson and Ian Silberman to the practice squad and cut offensive lineman Korren Kirven from the practice squad.

The moves were announced on Wednesday.

Edwards entered the NFL as a fifth round pick by the Tennessee Titans in the 2013 NFL Draft. He has 21 tackles, two sacks and two passes defensed in 22 career games. He also has one start. The 6 foot 4, 271 pound defender has also appeared in games for the Dallas Cowboys, Chicago Bears, Carolina Panthers and Indianapolis Colts.

Gray is listed at 6 foot 5, 315 pounds. The Manitoba product was signed by the Green Bay Packers this offseason as an undrafted free agent. He spent this season with the New York Jets' practice squad.

Hazel was originally a sixth round pick by the Miami Dolphins in the 2014 NFL Draft.

The 6 foot 1, 195 pound pass catcher appeared in nine games for the Dolphins in 2015 and in four games for the Colts during the 2017 season. He also participated on the practice squads for the Buffalo Bills and Washington Redskins.
