Dec. 10 (UPI) -- Seattle Seahawks defender Michael Bennett will likely see a fine from the NFL after an unsportsmanlike display on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The play went down late in the fourth quarter of the Jaguars' 30-24 victory. The Jaguars were kneeling down to kill the clock when a scrum unfolded.

After the kneel down, Bennett fell under Jaguars center Brandon Linder. Linder briefly stood over Bennett before stumbling to his feet. The Jaguars center turned around, before Bennett dove into the back of his knees. Linder's body twisted and he fell to the ground. Bennett continued to harass Linder, falling on top of him. Referees tossed flags all over the field as both teams started a shoving match.

Jaguars rookie Leonard Fournette also ran into the scuffle to confront Bennett, but was pushed back out by the Seahawks and his Jaguars teammates.

"I'm not going to get into any of that," Fournette told reporters after the game. "I was defending my player, that's all."

But that wasn't the extent of the ugly ending in Jacksonville. Seahawks defender Quinton Jefferson was ejected on the next play for unnecessary roughness. Jaguars fans tossed things at him from the stands as he exited through the tunnel. Jefferson stopped and exchanged words with the fans. He got so heated that he ran up to the edge of the stands and looked like he was going to jump up to confront the fans.

"Yeah. I don't know," Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said after the game. "I don't even know what happened, to relate to that thought. But, Yeah, I've seen every one of our guys. [Jefferson] just kind of lost it. Somebody poured a beer on his head walking out of the stadium or something. I told him that's pro football. They pay to get in, they can do whatever they want I guess. So, that's what happened."
