Zach Ertz: Philadelphia Eagles TE exits with possible head injury

SEATTLE -- Zach Ertz, the Philadelphia Eagles' star tight end, left the game against the Seattle Seahawks in the third quarter Sunday night after due to a possible head injury.

The team ruled him out for the remainder of the contest.

Ertz was hurt on a third-down pass broken up by Seattle safety Bradley McDougald as Philadelphia trailed 17-3.

Entering the game, Ertz ranked first among NFC tight ends in receptions (55) and yards (639). He had two catches for 24 yards vs. Seattle before heading to the locker room to be examined.
