Tom Brady: New England Patriots QB sounds off on OC Josh McDaniels

By Alex Butler

Dec. 3 (UPI) -- New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady lost his cool Sunday, going off on offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels.

Brady overflowed with emotion with about 1:24 remaining in the first quarter against the Buffalo Bills. The Patriots' 14-play drive ended with a successful field goal attempt by Stephen Gostkowski after Brady overshot wide receiver Brandin Cooks in the middle of the field.

The 59-yard drive lasted 6:21 before Gostkowski drilled his 50-yard kick, giving the Patriots a 3-0 lead.

The future Hall of Fame quarterback walked off the field. Brady walked by McDaniels, and the coordinator appeared to say something to the quarterback. Brady quickly turned around and shouted back at McDaniels. He eventually ripped off his helmet to continue the verbal tirade.

Brady and McDaniels have been together for 14 years with the Patriots. That run has included four Super Bowl titles and numerous broken records on the arm of Brady.

New England led Buffalo 23-3 midway through the fourth quarter, with Brady completing 17-of-25 passes for 206 yards. Brady had yet to throw a touchdown or an interception in the contest. He currently leads the NFL with 3,374 passing yards. Brady has 26 touchdowns against just three interceptions on the season. His 111.7 quarterback rating is the best in the NFL.
