Nov. 29 (UPI) -- The Arizona Cardinals have promoted running back Bronson Hill from the practice squad.
Arizona announced the move on Wednesday afternoon. The Cardinals also signed running back Darius Victor to the practice squad.
Hill entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent signing by the Buffalo Bills in 2015. The Eastern Michigan product has also spent time with the practice squads of the Chicago Bears, Miami Dolphins and New Orleans Saints. Hill had two carries for 11 yards in three games this season for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
He spent the preseason with the Minnesota Vikings and was on the Vikings' practice squad earlier this year. The Vikings released the 5 foot 10, 215 pound running back on Nov. 7.
Hill will wear No 48 for the Cardinals.
Victor entered the NFL as an undrafted rookie free agent signing by the New Orleans Saints. The 5-foot-8, 209-pound running back spent the preseason with the Saints before being released on Sept. 2.
The Cardinals signed linebacker Gabe Martin from the Saints practice squad on Tuesday and released tackle/guard Vinston Painter.
Arizona's unofficical depth chart includes Adrian Peterson as the starting running back, with Kerwynn Williams, Elijhaa Penny, D.J. Foster and Hill as reserves.
Williams suffered cracked ribs in Sunday's Week 12 victory against the Jacksonville Jaguars and is expected to miss time.
