Vander Laan, 25, entered the NFL in 2016 as an undrafted rookie free agent signing by the New York Jets. He spent time on the Jets' practice squad last season and spent this offseason with the Jets. He was waived on Sept. 3 during final roster cuts. The 6 foot 4, 244 pound tight end signed with the Colts' practice squad on Nov. 3.

He started 46 career games at quarterback at Ferris State. Vander Laan completed 666-of-1,050 passes for 8,240 yards, 85 touchdowns and 29 interceptions in college.

He also had 5,953 yards and 81 scores on 1,010 carries. That rushing total is the most by a quarterback in NCAA history at any level.

Williams, 24, was originally signed in 2016 as an undrafted free agent by the Washington redskins. The 6 foot 3, 306 pound offensive lineman spent last season on the Redskins' practice squad. Williams spent the first five weeks of the 2017 season on the Kansas Chiefs' practice squad. He was signed to the Colts' active roster on Oct. 14 but was inactive for five games.
