Oct. 21 (UPI) -- The Baltimore Ravens have re-signed offensive lineman Tony Bergstrom. Baltimore announced the move on Saturday. The Ravens waived cornerback Tony McRae in a corresponding transaction.
The Ravens released Bergstrom on Thursday when they signed wide receiver Griff Whalen. Bergstrom has played in three games and has been inactive for three games this season. He has 43 career NFL appearances and four starts.
The 6 foot 5, 315 pound lineman was a third round pick by the Oakland Raiders in the 2012 NFL Draft. Bergstrom, 31, appeared in nine games for the Raiders in 2012 and 16 games for the Raiders in 2015. He appeared in 15 games for the Houston Texans last season.
The Texans released Bergstrom in April. He signed with the Arizona Cardinals in May. Bergstrom landed with the Ravens through a trade before final roster cuts.
Ravens right guard Matt Skura has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings due to a sprained right knee. The Ravens have Jermaine Eluemunor listed as their backup right guard on the depth chart.
"We are [going to make a move on offensive line]." Harbaugh told reporters Friday, according to the team website. "We'll work that out today and tomorrow and see where we're at. We're going to want to go into the game with seven offensive linemen that are healthy, that can play for us. So, we'll have to do something."
The Ravens face the Vikings at 1 p.m. Sunday at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
