Oct. 10 (UPI) -- Check out our top 20 defense/special teams units and top 15 kicker rankings for Week 6.

With four more teams taking bye weeks in Week 6, it's time to get creative for the sake of your fantasy football squad's scoring output.

Take a gamble on some defenses that might not have great name value, but could find themselves in a luscious turnover laden matchup.

If you don't have great options at those spots, look to snatch a kicker or defense with a better matchup off of the waiver wire before it's too late.

My top defense for the week is the Atlanta Falcons and my top kicker is Matt Bryant. Here are the rest of my top 20 defense/special teams units and top 15 kickers for Week 6. You can visit other positional rankings in the links below.

TOP SHELF

The Atlanta Falcons are my top defense for Week 6, with a matchup against the offensively challenged Miami Dolphins. I'm expecting the Falcons to roll in this one and Jay Cutler should struggle to keep up with this offense.

The Denver Broncos are already one of the best defenses in the NFL. This week that unit faces the New York Giants, who have lost their most talented wide receivers to season-ending injuries. This one has blowout potential and I expect Eli Manning to get hit a lot.

Falcons kicker Matt Bryant better have his leg ready for all of the extra points he will kick Sunday in Atlanta. The Falcons are expected to blow out the Dolphins. Bryant could even be in line for some garbage-time kicks after the Falcons secure a victory.

Week 6 Kicker Rankings

Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker should always be near the top of your kicker lists. This week he should also get a workout against the New Orleans Saints. I don't expect the Ravens to keep pace with this Drew Brees attack. That means there could be opportunities for Tucker field goals when the Ravens' drives inevitably stall.

SNEAKY PLAYS

The Kansas City Chiefs host Ben Roethlisberger and the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 6. Roethlisberger is coming off of one of the worst outings of his professional career. Those turnovers won't escape his mind just a week later. The Chiefs should dominate this home game.

The Los Angeles Rams are a sneaky play in Week 6 with a matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jaguars are coming off of a huge win in Week 5 against the Steelers and I could definitely see a letdown effort in this contest. The Rams also have a nasty pass rush, accounting for the fifth-most quarterback sacks in the NFL this season.

Washington Redskins kicker Dustin Hopkins comes in as my No. 5 option for Week 6 because of his matchup against the San Francisco 49ers. I don't expect either team to stop these offenses. Hopkins is a top-5 play for me here.

Kai Fairbairn and the Houston Texans also have a good matchup Sunday against the Cleveland Browns. The Texans are one of the most exciting offenses to watch right now, being led by Deshaun Watson. He defiantly helps put Fairbairn in range consistently.

LONGSHOTS

The Tennessee Titans are struggling with an injury to Marcus Mariota and did not look good at all Sunday in a road loss to the Miami Dolphins. Luckily for Titans fans, the team takes on the Indianapolis Colts on Monday Night Football. Tennessee is my No. 11 defense this week, putting the unit in streamer consideration.

The Arizona Cardinals need to win in Week 6, following three losses in their last four games. I expect to see a great effort in their Monday Night Football matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Arizona ranks No. 8 for me in Week 6.

Ryan Succop and the Tennessee Titans should score plenty against the Indianapolis Colts. The Titans found it tough to get into the end zone last Sunday. That could be a struggle again in Week 6, putting Succup in a good spot to contribute to the Titans and your fantasy football team.

Denver Broncos kicker Brandon McManus is facing the New York Giants in Week 6. While the Giants' defense has been less than stellar, they could still put up a fight against Trevor Siemian. McManus will need to connect often in this contest to keep the Broncos on top and building on what I think will be a large lead throughout the game.
