The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are expected to hold tryouts for kickers in the aftermath of Nick Folk missing three field goals in the 19-14 loss to the New England Patriots on Thursday night.

The Bucs are arranging workouts for available kickers, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported Friday.

Tampa Bay coach Dirk Koetter said after the game there will be no "rash decisions" regarding Folk.

Folk missed a 31-yard field-goal attempt with 5:36 remaining that would have cut New England's lead to 16-10. He also misfired from 56 and 49 yards.

"It's unfortunate because Nick won the job in training camp and he has been really solid in practice," Koetter said Thursday night. "These last two weeks haven't been exactly what we were looking for. Of course, Nick would be the first to admit that. But still, it's a team game. We had other opportunities."

Koetter said he had a brief conversation after the game with general manager Jason Licht, but the coach would not be specific on Folk's status or whether the team would bring in more kicking competition.

"That will be something that will be forthcoming," Koetter said. "You don't want to make any rash decisions."

Last Sunday, Folk kicked a 34-yard field goal as time expired to give the Buccaneers a 25-23 victory over the New York Giants. But he also missed two field goals and an extra point earlier in the game.

The 32-year-old Folk is now 6 of 11 for field goals and 7 of 9 for extra points this season. He missed only four field-goal attempts (27 of 31) with the New York Jets in 2016.

"It has been a bad week," Folk, who has made 80.3 percent of his career field-goal attempts, said Thursday night. "From starting out on Sunday to (Thursday) -- bad week.

"I've just got to keep my head down, keep working and try to get better. Just keep swinging. I left points out there. We should've won that game 20-19. This one's on me."
