Tennessee Titans rookie wide receiver Corey Davis has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks because of a hamstring injury, the team announced Wednesday.

Davis, who was the fifth overall pick of the 2017 draft, initially injured his hamstring on Aug. 3 and aggravated it during Tennessee's 37-16 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.

"It's tough for anytime to have to watch a guy who can't play. It's so frustrating," Titans head coach Mike Mularkey said, per ESPN. "He's so competitive. He thinks he's letting us down. He's not letting anybody down. We're dealing with the NFL. We have injuries. I know he's frustrated at this point that he can't play."

Davis, who has seven receptions for 73 yards in two games for the Titans, caught 97 passes for 1,500 yards and 19 touchdowns last season at Western Michigan. His 5,285 career receiving yards are an FBS record, and he ranks second in NCAA history in career receiving touchdowns with 52.

Eric Decker will start in place of Davis opposite Rishard Matthews on Sunday.
