HOUSTON -- Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Allen Robinson sustained a left knee injury on the third play from scrimmage against the Houston Texans and did not return on Sunday at NRG Stadium.

Robinson caught a 17-yard pass from quarterback Blake Bortles to provide the Jaguars with their initial first down of the game. But Robinson failed to make it to the visiting sideline after crumpling to the turf.

He was taken to the locker room and ruled out for the game.

Robinson led the Jaguars in receptions (73), receiving yards (883) and receiving touchdowns (six) last season. He was a second-round pick out of Penn State in 2014.
