Jacksonville Jaguars rookie running back Leonard Fournette will sit out his second straight preseason game on Thursday against the Carolina Panthers, coach Doug Marrone announced Monday.

Fournette, who is the fourth overall pick of the 2017 draft, is nursing a nagging foot injury that kept him out of last week's exhibition against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The 22-year-old will be missing his second game since referring to the NFL as "easy" after his preseason debut against the New England Patriots. Fournette rushed nine times for 31 yards and a touchdown in that game.

Marrone also ruled out running back T.J. Yeldon (hamstring), wide receiver Marqise Lee (leg) and tight end Mychal Rivera (wrist).
