Mount will revert to the team's injured reserve list if he clears waivers.

The 6-foot-3, 306-pound Vaughn originally signed in May 2016 as an undrafted free agent for the Oakland Raiders. He spent the 2016 offseason program and training camp with the Raiders before getting waived on August 29. Vaughn also spent time on the Buffalo Bills' practice squad in 2016. While in college, Vaughn helped the Stephen F. Austin offense to 427.9 yards and 28.7 points per game in 2015.

He started 38 games with the Lumberjacks, mostly at right guard. Vaughn was an Honorable Mention All-Southland Conference selection in 2015.

Mount, 24, was a sixth-round pick by the Tennessee Titans in the 2015 NFL Draft. He had one interception and one pass defended for the Titans and the Colts. The 6-foot-5, 253-pound linebacker split time on the Colts active roster and practice squad.

Indianapolis has had a banged-up of crew of offensive linemen lately. Center Ryan Kelly is due to have foot surgery and is expected to be sidelined for the first half of the season.

The Colts signed wide receiver Justice Liggins and waived/injured running back Dalton Crossan on Tuesday.
