Aug. 3 (UPI) -- The Houston Texans have waived rookie defensive end T.J. Daniel and reverted wide receiver Deanté Gray from the reserve/injured list.

Houston announced the moves on Thursday. The Texans also moved rookie outside linebacker Dayon Pratt from the Active/Non-Football Injury list.

Daniel, a 6-foot-6, 280-pound pass rusher out of Oregon, landed on the Active/Physically Unable to Perform list in late July. Pratt was placed on the Active/NFI list that same day. Pratt is a 6-foot-4, 240-pound linebacker out of East Carolina.

Daniel had 37 tackles, 5.5 tackles for a loss, four sacks and two passes defended in four seasons for the Ducks. Pratt had 101 tackles, nine take downs for a loss, 2.5 sacks, four passes defended, four forced fumbles and a fumble recovery in four seasons for the Pirates. Gray had 857 yards and eight touchdowns on 54 receptions at Texas Christian. He also averaged 21.3 yards per kick return.

The Texans faced a devastating blow on Wednesday when second-year wide receiver Will Fuller went down at training camp. Fuller had 635 yards on 47 receptions in 13 games last season. He suffered a broken collarbone in Wednesday's session and is out for two to three months, according to the Houston Chronicle.

"Any time you lose a player for a little bit here of the caliber of Will, it's something the next guy's got to step up," Texans coach Bill O'Brien told reporters Thursday. "That's the NFL, that's training camp. Injuries happen, next man up. Will will be back. It's not a season-ending injury. He'll be back in Houston rehabbing. He'll be back as soon as he can."

Gray, Daniel and Pratt signed as undrafted free agents on May 12.
