By Alex Butler

Aug. 2 (UPI) -- The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have agreed to a contract with rookie wide receiver Shaq Hill.

Tampa Bay announced the signing on Wednesday. The Buccaneers also waived rookie wide receiver Jhajuan Seales with an injury designation. Hill entered the NFL this offseason as an undrafted free agent for the Houston Texans. The 5-foot-10, 180-pound wide out played at Eastern Washington. The Texans waived Hill in July when the franchise signed wide receiver Devin Street. Hill had 178 catches for 2,818 yards and 34 touchdowns at Eastern Washington. He was a first-team All-Big Sky Conference selection last season after totaling 1,157 yards and 17 scores on 77 receptions for the Eagles.

Tampa Bay also has Mike Evans, DeSean Jackson, Adam Humphries, Chris Godwin, Josh Huff, Freddie Martino, Derel Walker, Donteea Dye, Bernard Reedy and Bobo Wilson at wide receiver.

Hill will wear No. 89 for the Buccaneers.
