June 5 (UPI) -- Photographers captured photos Sunday featuring Peyton Manning leaving the White House after golfing with President Donald Trump. The New York Daily News reported that Manning and Sen. Bob Corker joined President Trump for a four-and-a-half hour outing at Trump National Golf Club.

Other footage and photos of the event were posted on social media.
An NFL general manager told Bleacher Report's MIke Freeman that "Peyton Manning will be president one day," after seeing the photos.
The White House did not comment on what Trump was doing at the course, but reporters witnessed golf clubs being taken out of the President's motorcade, CNN noted.
Trump National Golf Club is located in Sterling, Va. about 40 minutes from the White House.
Manning was in the area to receive the Lincoln Medal at Ford's Theatre in Washington on Sunday night.
The medal is given by Ford's Theatre Society to people "who, through their body of work, accomplishments or personal attributes, exemplify the lasting legacy and mettle of character embodied by Abraham Lincoln," noted Ford's Theatre official website. Former medalists included Nancy Reagan, Barbara Bush, Hillary Rodham Clinton, Laura Bush, Dr. Maya Angelou, Aretha Franklin, George Lucas, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Morgan Freeman.
The future Hall of Fame quarterback won two Super Bowls and was a 14-time Pro Bowl selection. He retired after the 2015 season.
Manning will have a statue unveiled in front of Lucas Oil Stadium on Oct. 7 in Indianapolis. He will also have his jersey retired.
