Kyle O'Quinn dunks in Josh Norman's face

By Alex Butler

May 29 (UPI) -- Washington Redskins cornerback Josh Norman is used to facing tall wide receivers on the football field, but he couldn't handle Kyle O'Quinn in a celebrity basketball game.

The New York Knicks center obliterated the Pro Bowl defender with a one-handed dunk Saturday at the Ted Constant Convocation Center in Norfolk, Va. The athletes were taking part in Bam Bam's Spring Jam put on by Seattle Seahawks safety Kam Chancellor.

O'Quinn dishes off a pass in transition to begin the play. He gets the ball back as he is running through the paint. Norman steps in from the left side and soars to try and contest the effort. The cornerback bats his hand toward the ball, but not strong enough for O'Quinn, who elevated and stuffed in the ball with a strong right-hand finish. After the play, O'Quinn stares down Norman and pounds his fist in celebration.

E.J. Manuel, Tyrod Taylor, Antoine Bethea, Cliff Avril and fellow NBA player Briante Weber also took part in the game, which used its proceeds to benefit the Kam Cares Foundation.

Kam Cares equips "children from underserved communities in Hampton Roads and Seattle areas with educational, health and wellness tools and resources to position students for greater academic success," according to its official website.

"Appreciate my boy @jno24 coming thru blessing the foundation with his presence at the #CelebrityBasketballGame," Chancellor wrote on Instagram.

Norman, 29, is listed at 6 feet tall while the 27-year-old O'Quinn is 6 feet 10 inches tall. The cornerback was ranked No. 59 in the NFL's annual Top 100 list, ranking the league's best players.
