May 10 (UPI) -- The Cleveland Browns signed one of the more underrated running backs in football Wednesday, inking Isaiah Crowell to his second-round tender.
Crowell signed a one-year, $2.81 million pact. The restricted free agent was hoping for a longer deal, but settled for the prove-it pact. Contract extension talks with the Browns reached a "stalemate" in January, according to NFL.com.
