Washington Redskins linebacker Junior Galette was arrested Friday night and charged with disorderly conduct and failure to comply with police orders after getting into a fight and running away during a spring break festival in Biloxi, Miss.

Galette, 29, was attending a concert at MGM Park during Biloxi's annual Black Beach Weekend, the Biloxi Police Department told ESPN.com. He was released after posting a $500 bond.

"We are aware of the incident. We are gathering information and will refrain from making any further comment," Redskins senior vice president of communications Tony Wyllie told ESPN in a statement.

Galette has had previous run-ins with the law throughout his career.

In early 2015 as a member of the New Orleans Saints, he was arrested and charged with simple battery involving domestic violence after allegedly pushing a woman to the ground while attempting to get her to leave his home.

Those charges were later dropped, but Galette was still suspended two games by the NFL over the incident.

Additionally, a 2013 video appeared to show Galette hitting a woman with a belt during a group confrontation on a beach. No charges were filed from that incident.

Galette is entering his third season with the Redskins after missing each of the last two years following Achilles tendon tears in both legs. He spent the first five seasons of his career from 2010 to 2014 with the Saints, totaling 88 tackles and 31 1/2 sacks in 64 games.

Most of those numbers were compiled in the 2013 and 2014 campaigns, when he totaled 12 and 10 sacks respectively.

Galette was released by the Saints less than a year into his four-year, $41.5 million contract due to behavioral concerns.
