After Tuesday's announcement that the veteran quarterback was headed to CBS Sports, athletes from all sports chimed in on what they thought of Romo's big move.
"From a Fan Of Yours to Being Your Teammate: THANK YOU for The Advice On & Off the Field to Making Plays that I'll Never Forget," Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott wrote on Instagram.
Wide receiver Terrance Williams also thanked Romo for their time together on the Cowboys.
Football fan Ric Flair also chimed in to the farewell bandwagon.
Tony🐐Romo thank you for everything. @tonyromo— Terrance Williams (@TerranceWill2) April 4, 2017
"Congrats to my good friend @tonyromo on an amazing career – WOOOOO," Flair tweeted.
Romo, 36, is expected to take over for fellow former quarterback and broadcast veteran Phil Simms as the network's top color commentator.
