Arizona Cardinals sign DT Frostee Rucker to one-year deal

The Arizona Cardinals re-signed defensive tackle Frostee Rucker to a one-year contract on Friday.

The 6-foot-3, 280-pound Rucker played in 57 games (22 starts) over the past four seasons with the Cardinals after joining the team as a free agent in 2013.

Rucker owns career totals of 314 tackles, 20 sacks, eight forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries and one interception in 126 games (58 starts) in 11 NFL seasons.

Rucker, 33, made nine sacks in his four seasons with the Cardinals, including a career-best five sacks and two forced fumbles in 2014. Last season, he played in 13 games (one start), making 25 total tackles and forcing a fumble.

Rucker entered the NFL with the Cincinnati Bengals as a third-round pick of the 2006 NFL Draft out of USC. He spent six years in Cincinnati before signing with the Cleveland Browns as a free agent in 2012.
