The Atlanta Falcons agreed to terms with two-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle Dontari Poe on Thursday.

The team did not disclose the terms for Poe, but Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reported it's a one-year deal worth up to $8 million -- with incentives boosting the total to $10 million.

"Poe is an athletic, big guy that can push the pocket," Falcons general manager Thomas Dimitroff said. "He will add to our defensive line group and will mix nicely with (Pro Bowler Vic) Beasley, (Grady) Jarrett, (Derrick) Shelby and (Adrian) Clayborn. We are happy to be able to add him to our roster."

Poe reportedly drew interest from several teams after becoming a free agent last week, including the Indianapolis Colts and Jacksonville Jaguars.

The 26-year-old opted for Atlanta and rejoins Scott Pioli, who aided in the Kansas City Chiefs drafting Poe with the 11th overall pick in the 2012 draft. Pioli now serves as an assistant general manager with the Falcons.

Poe is expected to bolster a defensive line that has improved in two years under head coach Dan Quinn.

Poe, who was selected to the Pro Bowl in 2013 and 2014, recorded 27 tackles, 1.5 sacks and one forced fumble while playing in all 16 games last season. The 346-pound Poe has collected 202 tackles, 13 sacks, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery in 78 career contests.
